Skeleton frogs! These spooky little friends have been in to-do list purgatory for nearly two years, but have finally crawled out of the grave and right onto my website! They make for perfect seasonal decor, but they’ll be very happy guarding your potted plants or hanging out with you at your desk year-round.
This special, limited run of porcelain frogs will be available to preorder until October 10th and arrive before Halloween!
Each frog is first cast from a plaster mold, then assembled and fired once. Then, I leave the bone design untouched and paint black underglaze into all of the negative space. Finally, I apply a coat of clear glaze and fire the frog again! These bony little fellas are individually hand painted; no stencils to be seen!
